I have the same kit from Carid...

In a few months you will not like it anymore. (at least that was my experience)

No matter how much adhesion promoter you use some pieces will start to pull up.

I'd go the 3M sheet route if I knew then what i know now...

 

I know a few people that didn't get all the Armor All off their parts good and had issues later. My truck is only 2 months old, I've never used anything to clean it other than a microfiber cloth and they day I bought it and they wanted to detail it I refused the interior service since I had plans for this install later. Of course I cleaned the shit out of it first with alcohol. I used the promoter and a heat gun to get everything nice and soft when applying the parts.

I hope I don't run into issues, If it do I'll let everyone know so not to waste their loot! Thanks for the heads up!

 

Yeah, upon further review it was 25-28 to do door handles and tweeter rings. Thanks. I'm thinkin just 25 and 27 and leaving the tweeter rings silver.

I'm I ever happy to run into this thread! This kit here I'm debating whether to get it or not! With the pictures that are up it defenitly looks like alot of carbon! lol just the few peices here and there would suffice but that will be my choice

 

Curious to hear from the OP how it all held up now over a year in?!!

Nice job. Definitely better than the original silver. A bit too much for me though. I like the radio, climate control stack, shifter console and door applications. Do you know if just those can be ordered or do you have to get the entire package?

 

what OBDII adapter did you get to synch it up to your tablet?

 

So you can order each part 1 by 1 or the entire kit. It's held up great, only 2 pieces started to come up a bit but that was due to not cleaning it well enough during install. Everything else has held up great, no fading or anything like that and I'm happy with the product and everything.

I do hear a lot 'its too much' but I have a thing for carbon fiber and cannot stand that silver stock trim at all.

That came out looking really nice.

I installed one of those kits on my '03 Tundra and it was terrible.
It just didn't "work" around the compound curves of the dash center section, and the design of the door lock panels didn't lend well to the added thickness of the aftermarket kit.

Ultimately, I replaced the center panel, door lock panels, and center console cup holder (not a part of the sticker kit) with the OEM "Limited" woodgrain parts.
I left the thin strip on the front edge of the cluster surround, and I think there were a couple of other parts that I left on, but for the most part, it was a complete waste of way too much money.
I never did care for the way the vent surrounds looked on the Tundra and didn't install them.

 

Too fast and furious for my liking. But, to each their own.
