Could I make the argument my prerunner is more capable in the snow then a stock 4*4

    I can most certainly see how your truck can perform just as well as a 4x4 in the snow. With the right driver behind the wheel and a little finesse with the gas pedal, you can get yourself through a lot in a prerunner. A 4x4, however, can and will go farther than RWD pickup.

    Our Sub is for the slippery stuff, Pickup is for the deep stuff, and we don't own anything with 2wd but I HATE driving in the snow with other people's. You can get by where things are plowed right, but it's just not the same as far as confidence goes.

    (I also had to pull out my buddies prerunner several times last year :)

    reminds me a of a rally race video, where a driver is arguing with a local bobby that his car is still safe to race. - Its looking a bit beat up, and its running on 3 wheels - one of the drive wheels is completely sheered off as I remember it - really funny to hear the argument, and the rally driver is pissed.

    ya I wish I could find the video. The stage was held on public streets, so the cars still had to abide by certain local road laws. The funny part was the car was stopped while it was still racing on three wheels. you could tell the car was well balanced, and an AWD. still really funny - reminded me of Monty Python - c'mon you buggar I can still fight
