'09 Dbl cab, TRD suspension plus 2" lift, LEDS, FJ TRD rims. All around pretty mild.
I searched and it looked like a few dudes have had this issue but no answers...

I will save some folks typing time...
    It's NOT the alignment.
    It's NOT the lift.
    It's NOT the tires.
    It's NOT the air pressure.
    It's Not the ABS.

...OK, so today the wife is driving and calls me to tell me the truck is pulling to the left. Hard.
She brings it home, and I take it for a spin.

I'll do my best to try and describe the symptom that I think others have as well, but can't quite get there in describing it.
So this mostly feels like a 45 mph and below issue, my first thought was that bullshit VSC, so I unplugged ABS#1 (which was getting ready to go anyway)....seemed to clear it up....until I went to pick the kids up from school. I was going under 5mph in the school drive and the wheel YANKED to the left like somebody had their hand on it, or like bump steer at a higher speed, or hitting a two inch puddle on one side going 60...but then wheel returns, weird huh?

I did notice some exposed metal (tab) on the Driver's Side sensor plug
( And I thought only US car makers were stupid enough to put sensors forward facing)...

This was very random as the truck has not seen anything change in months....it is raining like piss right now though, and I think something is shorting out w/ the water.

It's not like a pull from a sticky caliper. it's like a yank then a twitch, twitch and it almost tries to correct itself....yeah, it's twitchy like (for you RC guys) a glitchy servo.
It really feels more electrical than mechanical, it's very random.
It does it in 4WD as well.
    Any ideas?

    Did this make sense?
    Oh yeah, it's an '09.

Thanks dudes, don't want the wife and kids to die...(my truck but she drives it 90%)

Water fouling a sensor or connection dealing with stability control would be my guess.

That's what I thought, but when you disable ABS it disables VSC as well.
But that is what it feels like.

It stopped doing it the next day.
I got under it today, the sensor plug was fine. It just so happens that part of them is white, and the other side was just dirty.
Yesterday when driving home, I heard that nasty metal to metal sound on the DS rotor.
So all I can think of that it was, was chunks of the pad breaking off and binding randomly. We'll see next time it rains.
No warning from the wear indicators at all.

I still think it's stupid to put sensor plugs forward facing.

You don't inspect your brake pads when changing the oil?

Never ever count on the " Wear Indicators ". The brakes should be inspected IAW the service schedule.
