    I have 3 - 40 gallon tanks. 800+/- for fresh but I never fill that for a trip. Maybe when I get to camp. So if all 3 were full then yeah 2400+ pounds. But we shouldn't have to run with black and grey tanks full. I figured I am about 500 for gear and food but 9/10 times we shop when we get there.

    Bullshit. The Baja 10's are only 300 lb hitch/tongue weight dry. Even with the quad, not all of it will end up as tongue weight.

    Anyone tow a camper with a quad in the bed of the truck?

    I recently got a 22 foot travel trailer thats about 5000 pounds all loaded up. It tows great.. But.. I haven't got a chance to put my 4 wheeler in the bed while its hooked up, its an outlander 800.

    Just wondering how it will tow with both. I do have an aal and 5100's

    Any input appreciated

    Not a Tacoma, but I towed this today. By far the heaviest thing I have ever towed. Forklift weighs about 9500 pounds and the trailer is over 4000. Loading it was interesting, even though it was a tilt trailer. Glad I had a diesel to pull that one. Haha

    The Bajas have close to a 2000lb cargo limit designed into the camper. The thought process was to not have to put my wheeler in the bed of my truck.

    I will be sure to post up actual tongue weights with and without the toy onthe deck!:D

    ^^^this...is what I'm hoping for. The WD/antisway hitch is just extra insurance towards ease of towability, and probably a little overkill.:eek::D

    2013 Grey Wolf 25RB 27' Travel Trailer. First time towing it today with my ProEFX Towing Mirrors. Tows great but I am going to invest in a set of Firestone airbags just to help the sag. The WD hitch helps but wanna try to keep the truck as level as possible.

    Thanks, I'm really interested. I would love to get a rig like that, but I'm afraid to throw a 900 lb Harley on the ramp and find out I'm over the 650 tongue weight. I hope it works out for you.

    Dry weight is just shy of 2500lbs with 300 on the tongue.
    Add on the full 2000 lb load capacity and that puts the tongue weight right at 550 lbs as long as you keep the tongue level.

    You'll be fine.

    I will be using a combination WD/antisway hitch. If need be, I will add airbags. That would be a great excuse to do an on-board air setup with extra storage! :D

    WD/Antisway is the only way to tow anything more than something small like a quad or a couple dirt bikes. So much easier and way less stressful.
    Max tow capacity requires a WD hitch anyway.

    What is the dry weight on your camper. I am thinking about getting one about 4800 lbs dry weith and 500 lb hitch weight and was wondering if my TACO could handle it.

    475 hitch weight and 4300 dry. Tows well about 60. Not going to be able to much more than that unless on flat ground for miles. Get a good WD hitch. I've ordered air bags to help with the rear sag. I have the tsb on the rear springs but it still needs help.

    Oh and invest in the ProEFX towing mirrors. So worth the money!
