He said its been a year but does He mean a year since he found Woodbury. Or a year since the outbreak.

What was with the statement from rick to the governor about "you were the town drunk that knocked over my mail box, nothing more" Makes it seem like Rick and the Governor knew each other before the outbreak?

i think he just meant it as a metaphor since he's the asshole that drove through rick's prison fence and dumped the walkers in.

^^^^^ this exactly, trying to take away from the gubners statement of how he was just flexing his nuts with the zombie-gram and could have killed the entire group at any point. rick was just countering that and saying "dont act all cool you aint that smart" kind of hinting that the zombie-bomb was just a spur of the moment reckless act not a well thought out tactical move.

If you read the book "Rise of the Governor" it details that like Rick he was on the road for a good amount of time before Woodbury.

It's been more than a year, but not two or more. Look at the cast, they're all wearing jackets this last episode. Everyone was in long sleeves and it tells me that it's coming on fall. They've been at the prison all summer.

Yeah, Brian... I mean Phillip and his small crew were on the road for several months before finding Woodbury. "Rise of the Governor" began pretty early in the "turn" as they still had power, radio, internet and several other essentials early in the story.

For those that have not read "Rise of the Governor" it is a really good read (Pretty easy, for those that don't like to, or don't read much). I killed mine in just over a week of reading before bed... and I'm not an avid reader.

I wonder if they are ever going to bring out the Brian/Philip card in the show? The book was written after the show started, but before the 3rd season. Both books revolve heavily around the Governor and Woodbury... and make Woodbury out to be a much darker place. Makes me think that this season may not end with the demise of the Governor.

True. Think about Lori being pregnant. That's what, 10 months? I say coming up on a year and a half or so since the outbreak.
