Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Was really into them when I was a kid, only had electric ones though. Had a little Jeep Wrangler that I just loved, had that thing for years. It wasn't very big but was a lot of fun, had rechargeable batteries (something that seems hard to find today) and I remember it took 4 hours to charge the battery and it seemed like ages. I wanted to play with it all the time, finally some years later the gears in the motor stripped and it was all she wrote. I still have it, kept it for a keepsake due to it's sentimentality. Here's a few pics of it, you can tell it has been used, corners of the bumper are all beat off and whatnot. It used to have lights on top that got busted off in many of the bad rollovers it's been in. Tough old Jeep, it survived lots of years of hard use. I wish I could rebuild it and use it again, but I wouldn't even have the slightest clue where to find parts for something this old. I was only like 7 when I got it and am 20 now. Had a few other R/C's but this is the one that I am most sentimental about.

    Nice!

my 1/10 exceed mad crawler just came in the mail today. UPS lost the package for a week and a half

awesome crawler. sucks down batteries with the dual motors, but i can get some decent sessions in with the 7cell nimh i cut down to 6 cell to fit the tray properly.

curious how the mad beast performs. looking forward to hearing about it.

I raced on Saturday and I took first in 17.5 buggy. took 2nd in Stadium truck but get this, my radio batteries died half way through the race so I had one 70 second lap (a normal lap is about 20.5) I still worked my way back up into 2nd.

mad crawler is a fun little truck. only complaint so far is the turning radius sucks, but that was expected with full time locked diffs. already putting parts together for 4-wheel steer. truck already comes with the servo plate and steerable knuckles :D

i hope i never have to talk about water like that in reference to a boat. too cold for me

i've been looking at a boat though. i feel like it's a waste to have a lake in my back yard and no rc boat. how do you like the 27r from a size standpoint? handle's the chop pretty well?

In the chop its terrible. Lake pretty much has to be glass for it to be able to run full speed. If I bought another boat, Id go for a Catamaran. Its a lot of fun though, when the conditions are right.

I live in florida, so i have a smaller calm lake behind my house, a river a mile away, and the ocean 4 miles away, so while the lake is always calm, i think i'm looking for something that can handle chop. does it flip and become uncontrollable when it's choppy, or just not have the power for chop?

Flips.. will also jump off the waves and dive. I think a cat would be a lot more stable. Its definitely powerful enough.

I think it's 1:24 scale but not sure, will look at it and see if it says so anywhere on it.
EDIT: Found out it's a 1:20 scale. I found a similar Jeep on eBay, same thing actually but different color. If it is a rechargeable model, I will probably buy it and swap bodies.

For a rtr cat, i highly recommend a aquacraft motley crew, for a mono i say the revolt 30.

Iv had a spartan, impulse 31, mystic 29, miss geico, plus some others and aquacraft imo has a very nice rtr line up.
