I like Trek. Really want a Specialized though... They're all the same bike though. None make their own components so I might go Giant since the price is right.

Do you ride the trails in central Des Moines? There's some good rocky ones down there I heard.

Lolz. Those ironhorse bikes couldn't take the abuse I put a bike through. I went HAM on an old Trek I had and bent the front wheel twice and stripped the derailer before I scrapped it.

 

I don't ride like that... Works great for what I do.

 

You should try some downhill stuff, or backcountry trails. It's a rush. And more of a workout than just lance armstronging it. Just don't be dumb and you usually won't get hurt.

The only way I would use Pex is if it was a continuous run from manifold to fixture

buddy of mine picked up the specialized, damn is it nice. We typically ride the sycamore trail that follows the des moines river and beaver creek.
