Can you explain that? I started it today and I did 185 ATG squats low bar position (high hurts hah :anonymous:) 155 and on my last set I was going for 5 but didnt get it. Just a month earlier my 1RM was 185. Also did deads before bench since I was in the position to do them. Deads was 245 but my back hurt BAD after I let down the bar and relaxed it. Soon as it relaxed; pain. Did the dips with 15lbs dumbbell between my feet.

My bench has just been plateauing for basically 6 months.

Do I need to eat a ton of calories on the days I don't lift? Im doing compound 3x a week. on the other days do I need to eat a ton? I feel pretty recovered on my day and and it seems it would just turn to fat.

Okay thanks man. I just wasn't quite sure. But it makes sense to keep eating so your body will have that much more energy the next day.

So I hate when this thread is dead. Check it like 10 times a day.

Hi Sean quick question, would eating a small Pre workout shake help with dizziness and spinning after a heavy lift, been going up in the weights in DB bench, squat, deads and verious pulling lifts. sometimes after the 3rd heavy set i can feel my vision is starting to narrow and i'll get pretty lightheaded, never did that back then when i lifted heavy, but ever since IF and lifting on empty stomach i've been feeling like this.

I think your good to have a small meal pre-workout! Insulin levels are primed during this time so take advantage.........then have your beastly meal post workout!

I personally need to eat so I dont bunk out half way through!
