Highest Output Pure White,non projector, kit/bulb for 05+ fogs?

searched around and couldn't figure it out

also what is the bulb size
I assume 55W kits have issues with blinding/melting and uneven lighting

DDM tuning sells an H11 HID Kit

5000k is considered pure white for bulbs...

 

4300K is optimum

ANYTHING in the fog lamps that is HID is blinding....35 watt or 50 watt.

until u find a company with glare shields for them, its gunna blind oncoming traffic and (I know most of u guys wont like to hear this or admit to it), the super bright light just in front of the truck will mess with ur visions slightly and cut your distance viewing.....its just toooo bright right in front of you and ur pupils constrict, and the brightness right there is just gunna kill ur own distance viewing as well as give others a headache.

been there, done that.

I dont even use factory fogs on the freeway unless its......foggy.

it makes ur eyes focus in on the area directly in front.....when u should be focusing (clear view preferably) out in the distance AKA "scanning"

H11 is the Kit right not the bulb size? whats the bulb size

 

H11 is a designation for a federally regulated HALOGEN bulb design. The HID H11 kit uses a bulb that fits in an H11 housing. Since there is no standard for an H11 HID bulb it will have varying results depending on what the China made company does regarding bulb length and location. There is NO standard here. One company might have a longer or shorter H11 bulb. It can be thinner or fatter.... because it has no standard to follow.

 

I agree that HID in the fogs is more blinding than HID in the headlamps to oncoming motorists. As far as close in illumination ruining distance vision... its true but a little overblown. More important is lighting INSIDE the cab like not having your interior lights on, not having a bright NAV radio screen, not having your super bright dash LED retro lights on max, or not having interior accent lighting on. After that limiting your close range light plays a small, but real part. I, for one, can tell a BIG difference with varying interior lights altering how well I see out side the truck... fogs on or off... can't tell so much, perhaps if you have HID fogs it would be noticeable.

 

Right on point........when I tried 2 differant hid fog brands I personally thought it was very noticable, but everyone is differant too.
Those hid fogs didn't last long once I noticed the effect it had to oncoming traffic.....1 set I sold, the other set I threw away.

Agreed, interior lighting is much more of a problem tho.
