Congrats on the new truck purchase! I do have kits of my original design available right now. Hoping to have the "semi-hidden" version available before too long. See post #923 in this thread for photo.

I wish my man. But for now there aren't any more where the first one came from. Well actually there are more, but I would have to buy a WHOLE lot of them

Is the semi-hidden going to be the same price, and what will it cost to ship it to Ontario, Canada (standard post is fine).

Keep in mind that if you have, or plan to have, a sub box/amp board on that passenger side back wall that all you will need is the non-hidden version.

Blacked out emblems, Weathertech liners, LED interior, tag, and 3rd brake light, reverse light mod, rear TSB, rear diff. breather, added black factory running boards, OR tow hook, and rhino lined UWS low profile box.
Sorry if this has been asked, but how many do you think would be needed for your order of fully hidden models? If a large order is all that's needed to make it happen I'd be willing to pre pay. I'm betting there are others that would do the same.

    Anyone?

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Yup. I'd be down. Might even be able to be talked into a little extra donation just to get it moving

Ben, you might want to start a poll (separate thread??) asking people: interest in non-hidden "right damn now" version, semi-hidden version, fully-hidden "sometime within the next three years" version, and how many people are willing to pay up-front for the hidden version. That way, you can get an idea whether it's worth moving forward on, and those of us waiting for the hidden version can get an idea whether it's worth waiting on. If you have to start a new thread, link to this one, and give some background on what's going on with the hidden version (for anyone not subscribed to this thread).

I'm in the same boat. I'd be more then willing to pay more for the hidden version. If that meant putting down a deposit, contributing to a kickstarter type activity, whatever. I am in the 'I'm willing to fund this' camp.

Thanks for all your efforts to this point BenWA.

Right on! same here. Benwa, you got an awesome concept product that you know works...Have you thought of using the KickStarter site to get some funds? I think you got a winner here especially if it can be used on other trucks besides the tacoma.

I would need to sell just about 300 kits to break even if I were to order the minimum order quantity from the manufacturer. It's a lot.

Good idea Mach. I think this would be a good way to get a feel for overall interest.

A buddy of mine suggested kickstarter a while back. I will have to revisit that idea.

Thanks, everyone, for all the support. Appreciate the words of encouragement. :)

Update on semi-hidden kits for DC's and full hidden kits for AC's:

I plan on selling both of these to the general public very soon. Mainly all that's left is that I need to create an installation instruction manual, and have a couple of folks dry-run the installation procedure on their own so I can ensure that the average Joe can do the install without royally f'ing things up.

I'm going to say these will hit market in 2 weeks or sooner. I'm super excited to finally give the AC owners a shot at this. :)

Price will be just about the same as current non-hidden kit.
