Was only referring to the tops being bed lined. But I agree, rims are too big and those aren't rims you buy to beat up. I'm not a fan of the step bars, and I'd just go ARB on that front bumper. Looks tough on the fj's.

I agree completely, the rims are too excessive...

^ Blacking out the chrome & not having the vertical bars looks good IMO

Wheeler's five pack leaf springs, Bilstein 5100s (rear), front tint, windshield top tint, Century Camper Shell/Cap/Topper, Wade window visors, Wade bug shield, cassette adaptor (so I can play Slacker Radio via my phone!), Sunday Blues with Dar sticker, Wounded Warrior Project sticker, no NRA sticker 'cause I don't wanna advertise ;-)
Just realized my Wheeler's leafs were put on reversed (left & right)...is there a big difference between which side they are on? I'm thinking it may be a contributing factor to the Taco lean I have now...maybe they are made to compensate and if they were reversed, it might even it out. Any input appreciated...will call the shop to get it in once I get some solid information.

Okay, just talked to Wheeler's...they said the only difference is the amount of arch in the spring, which does accommodate for the "Taco lean"...making it level out.

So, a call to the shop is in order...wish me luck!

So, they're going to fix it Saturday morning...yay! The lean was the only thing that I didn't really like, will be nice to get it leveled out ;)

Probably simple I'm sure, but how do you remove the vertical bar?

mine leans to the driver side but i'm pretty sure it's only because my billy 7100's could use a rebuild :D

A cut off wheel. But I think the bar supports the hood latch mechanism dont hold me to it though. If it doesn't and is attached to the header panel/rad support then i guess you can remove it. Not sure if it will effect the structural integrity of anything. Side note after pulling it all apart it looks like my truck smashed something before I owned it, that bar is bent in and the side markers are not OEM and same for the grille not OEM.

^the bar is also a mounting spot for your whole grill bezel.

My 96 Tacoma's bar was broke in the middle. It did support the hood latch slightly, but not enough to change anything drastically.

Hmm, must have changed something from the 95-97 front ends to the 01-04's. My 96's didn't support anything but the hood latch.

When I spoke with Wheeler's, they said that the springs have a slightly different arc left to right to compensate for the lean. So if you have springs that are identical (as the shop that installed mine assumed mine were), you will get a lean with the driver's side lower than the passenger.

My truck, even with wheelers 5 packs, wheelers 1.5 AAL, Sway away 2.0 Coilovers with the drivers side set on 2.5'' and the passenger set on 2''...STILL has Taco lean. Its impossible to eliminate.:mad:
