I had the TC version. Seems like they may have helped some, didn't hurt anything anyway.

Those shocks are 400 for a pair or for each?

Yeah deff not goin to be 400 for the pair. That's each. So over 1400 for a bolt on system?

LSK lowers 1200, king 6" 800, custom Fabbed shock hoops 300, so yeah more money but you have a fully Fabbed lowers will be much stronger. Not picking sides this icon set up certainly is awesome!

    Looks beefy

Combine that with Icon's new CDC resi's and triple bypass secondary shocks...best looking front mid travel setup IMO.

BAMF's protect more by shielding the alignment nut/stud and is cheaper.

TC's set is cheaper I had a set before going TC lowers and they worked fine.

The idea of a shock mount attached to it does not make me warm and fuzzy and price.

Ya.... I'd rather have BAMF's now but oh well. I don't do anything crazy so they will work for me, and I like that little Icon logo

asking/bumping here because I'm curious to see what folks are running on 2nd gens

are LCA skids worth it, if any in particular?
-people say they reduce clearance. But, it could me negligible
-I've seen done before strengthening of stock LCA's by using weld bead, but that requires you have a welder, and may require taking off the LCA (labor)

    the main worry however
    Water.

It's been said that there is an issue with LCA skids. That they use existing water drain holes to mount.
and as a result, those holes are plugged and the LCA no longer has a way to drain water and whatnot,
basically making this into a bad idea.

Only way I can think around that, is maybe find a place next to an old hole (now used for a bolt) and drill a new hole, and paint the bare metal
    to act as a drain

who knows. Maybe that's a moot point. Maybe by the time any of that becomes in issue, the bushings get worn by then anyway
at which point some folks simply throw whole new OEM arms at it and toss the old ones.
