A few notes. To the guy asking about 4300k leds... They are much dimmer than the higher kelvin leds. You see, white leds are actually blue leds. They then put phosphors on the led that absorb blue and shine red and green. This is how you get white light. You can also have seperate red blue and green leds to get white but that is less efficient in price and not as focusable. The phosphors are not 100% efficient. The lower the kelvin the more red and green phosphor and thus the lower the lumen output. LED will be brighter the bluer it is. I prefer WHITE light. I am willing to sacrifice lumens to get this. 5000K is lower output but has no blue. Most "white" LED are between 5600 and 6500 kelvin. I cost myself almost 10% lumen output using 5100k leds in my Scorpion floods. I get only 9800-10000 lumen instead of 10800 with 5600k.

For HID, the salts that allow the color to be fuller spectum are most efficient at 4300k. Higher kelvins requires different salts to be heated up in the tube (similar concept as the leds phosphors) and those salts are less efficent at reradiating light so have lower output. Again, I prefer WHITE light so 5000k is the goal. You take a small hit in lumens to achieve this.

To account for better color LEDs need to be very efficient or you need more of them. I have to pay more to get similar output per lumen. 5k is a sweet spot to have led and HID lighting the same color with minimal performance hits to both.

The 30" SR I got locally from a friend who gets his stuff from Totron. The 2 pod lights are from okledlightbars. I believe they both come from the same place pretty much.

Are most people opting for double row, purely for more light or is there another advantage? I am thinking of the BlitzPro15S for my hybrid bumper

There are single rows that have a higher lumen output than some double rows, even within the same company. Size/mounting location and beam pattern are two other considerations.

Okay. I like the fact that BlitzPro has a 15" light since that will fit perfectly on the hoop of my bumper. I just want to make sure I'm getting a good light. Seems some people like them here and others don't

Gonna start building my own bar soon... running two cree leds, at 30' they registered around 600 lux. One headlight was 475 lux... this setup was just a slapped together gotta try out the new leds arrangement.
