    K will do! Thanks!

So what are you doing with the ones that came with your bumper?? I'd say get the LED bar if it's within your budget. Looks cool.

Got everything mounted up today. I had the old bumper off and the new one on in an hour. Very straight forward. Only trouble I had was the crash cross member, until I realized there were more bolts that would let that come off. Loosened those up and boom that came off. This thing is actually pretty light I was able to mount it no trouble by myself.

    Started like this:

    And it went to this!

I took the covers off and dumped the standing water out of them. He forgot to seal them up.

Mine weighed 98lbs when I put it on a scale. That was just the bumper, didn't include all the bolts, supports and mounting brackets. I'd guess it is about 110-120lbs counting those.

I haven't remeasured but I don't think my front end moved down at all when I added the bumper. Although I had a bullbar up front as well before the bumper. I weighed everything I pulled off for the install and I removed 60lbs to add 115ish lbs so really I only added about 50-60lbs. These coils are supposed to maintain a 3" lift on the V6 Double cab with both a plate bumper and steel cable winch.

    Buff as shit!!

    Looks awesome Mitch!

For you gun gurus..been thinking about getting my ccw and went to a gun shop with my bro today. Really like this one because it's small and looks nice. Thoughts? I'd be getting the Bersa Thunder Plus since it's only $50 more and carries more capacity. It's fairy cheap IMO also. I know nothing about hand guns. Only gun(s) I've handled is M16A2 while in the military and a 30-06 Remington 700 for hunting.

Do research on what you want to carry and what you're comfortable with shooting. Check out gun ranges, most of em will let you rent hand guns (and of course buy their ammo) - this can be expensive but it will solidify your opinion in what you want...

    For a .380 I have a Kel-Tec P3AT:
    http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2010/09/don-gammill-jr/gun-review-kel-tec-p3at-380/

    For 9mm I have the Glock 19:
    http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2012/03/ralph/gun-review-glock-19-gen4-9x19mm/

I would highly recommend the Glock 19 to anyone, but that doesn't leave the Kel-Tec far behind as that is an incredibly nice summer carry option when you don't wanna lug around 16 rounds of 9mm ammo on top of your pistol

Sweet, thanks for the advice on checking out gun ranges! Did a google search for reviews and people seem to like it, only problem is they have a hard time getting a hold of extra magazine. Good point on carrying around x amount of rounds. Maybe I'll go with the regular one. I held it and it is nice and light. I'm not a gun craze person, just want to carry or keep in my truck for safety issues with my daughter.

Dude leave the bersa alone when your life depends on it. Get a Glock if that's the only thing you will have. Please. I know they are a couple of hundred more, but they go bang every time you pull the trigger and the bullets go in the general direction you point it. For a secondary piece or ankle gun the bersa would be ok, but not advisable. It's easy to get sucked into the cheap price, but you can find used police turn in Glocks for just a little more that will be much more reliable and accurate and will have a useful capacity (and you can find parts for them anywhere). I'm not a Glock fan in any way, personally I am a 1911 man, but I always recommend them for a first or only firearm. As a veteran myself, you can't go wrong with the Beretta M9 just like we were issued. They are heavy, but reliable.

Also try reaching out and seeing if any of your friends own hand guns. Now is definitely not the best time in getting a Glock or trying to get magazines. Well I lied... you can get anything, it'll just cost you more than it would have before the shootings of Aurora, Newtown or the legislation trying to be passed around the country.

Maybe she would like a concealed weapons permit also? Unless she is not of age then I'm happy to hear you want to get a new toy and a CCW!

As always, make sure to know your state laws regarding the carrying, transportation and use of firearms
