Tune Up Question

    Alright going to do a tune up this week end.... is there a trans filter in the 03 tacos with v-6... also what spark plugs do yall run, was just going to get stock spark plugs but didnt know if anyone used other plugs... also on the trans change... how much fluid..

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Get the OEM Denso twin ground plugs. Gap them at .040 on EACH side. :)

    getting there....
    as said....go with the densos. you can drop the pan and use brake cleaner on the screen if needed, then rtv silicone to make a new gasket for the trans pan.

    getting there....
    mine was right around 5 quarts....but i dropped the pan and took the filter out, so yours may be a little less.

    thats the way it comes from the factory.when i replaced mine, i used all denso.....the ngk's were burnt pretty bad.

    i would too.............after i have dropped the pan and cleaned the filter. that way, you know that all of it will be clean when they pull the new fluid in.

    I think most of it may be personal preferance, but I prefer the Denso plugs. :eek:
