Halfway done installing new seats. You don't fully appreciate how much the stock seats suck until you sit in a good seat.

The sit a bit lower than stock...

Getting really jealous! I'm driving from NorCal to Phoenix in a week and a half, and I can already feel my back tensing up. Unfortunately the exterior mods list has to be done first for my truck. And replacing a camper window has set me back in the funds department.

Haha... I think I should be able to see over the wheel... just a little lower but not too much.

The friggin bracket maker didn't cut all the holes... there is supposed to be 8... 4 for the bracket to chasis... and 4 for the bracket to seats. The didn't cut the ones for the seats. I called them and emailed them pictures. After giving them an ear full, the asked me if I was sure they just didn't paint over the holes... idiots... they are 5/16" holes... that would be a big paint glob. They then said they are gonna call engineering and get back to me. I'm gonna try to give me a refund on the brackets (I'll take partial but gonna ask for full).

I ended up drilling them out myself (since it took 5 weeks to get them and I wasn't about to wait anymore if they wanted me to send them back). I had to get longer bolts with nuts since the holes were supposed to be threaded. But... it's done. I'm still asked for a refund though.

The leg bolsters take a little getting used to. A little different getting in and out as well (but much better than that stupid plastic piece). They feel sooo much better. My back has been getting worse lately and the lack of support on the stock seats just wasn't working for me. These things wrap me up and hold very well. I'm a very happy Taco owner right now. :D

Needs a new back window but that won't take very long as I live next to tap plastic!

Looks great man, I'm tempted to swap seats but I'm not in it enough to really justify the expenditure.

Thanks. Yeah, she's my daily driver. I decided I'm gonna keep her for long haul, so to me it was a good investment.

Looks like it matches perfect. Those are some really big side windows... almost takes up the entire side.

Those seats look very nice! I guess I'm the only one that likes the stock seats??? I think they were built to fit Chinese men... Haha I'm 5' 4" and 120 lbs. and the seats are pretty comfortable for me.

Cleaned the interior of my truck today...Took a while after a few trips of muddy weekends towing the boat and gear and friends...I don't think I had cleaned it since near the end of hunting season either...

    All better now.

i personally like the front seats. they are indeed comfortable. honestly though i just repaired a hole that came up on the left side of the lumbar part where it sticke out a bit i guess youd call it. the metal underneath cut through after me getting in and out all the times. ive also replaced that plastic trim on the left side of the driver seat from getting in and out as well.. saw another thread about replacing that plastic piece or maybe it was in a diy thread. but i do plan on keeping the factory front seats, just getting some wet okoles for them. honestly would like to see some in a first gen though. always see them in 2nd gen tacos. ive never seen how they fit our trucks although im sure for the price they are gonna fit pretty damn good lol
