Had mine replaced yesterday. 2nd one in 9 months of owning it, only 11k miles on it

 

My windshield looked brand new when I bought mine. A week later a dump truck slings a rock into it...

 

Looks good, I was thinking of removing the whole plastic bin and making the space more useful. The truck came with the JBL woofer and that takes up a ton of room.

 

The problem I see with just removing the plastic is all your crap is just heaped up with no organization and you only gain a couple more inches

 

Finished my Yakima bed rack (kept bed rail caps too) and welded the MAF flange on my TCAI clone.

 

Yeah I would build something that would span both seats, It would look like crap compaired to what you did. Electronics, I can handle, woodworking...meh.

 

I thought about doing that , but it would be kinda awkward because the plastic bins basically touch the back of the cab so any material thickness you add will actually reduce space

 

Took it to the dealership to get alignment. Made the reservation 2 weeks ago, told them I had a 2.5" lift and aftermarket UCAs and they said no problem, dropped it off at 7:30am this morning, they called me at 3pm saying they cant do it. Supposedly the lead tech was afraid to touch it.
Waste my damn time and gas!

 

Dealerships don't know jack about our lifts, go find a shop that specializes in 4x4 lifted trucks. It's a whole different critter to most techs.

No, TC's. I told them they don't have to touch any aftermarket stuff. They don't want to be liable for anything. 3 different friends recommended a shop that specializes in lifted and dropped vehicles. I'm sure they do a few tacos a day.

I told them the same thing! It wouldn't have been so bad if they told me "no" when I made the reservation 2 weeks ago. I could've had my alignment and recon done by now.

 

Washed and filled her up then did some intense mall crawlin'....I almost had to use 4low to get into this one spot, luckily I have a great spotter tho haha

Was the spotter there to help you get up the curb? or make sure you are over the line? Or both

 

It was a big curb, I had to show up the Dakota with Truck Nuts(not sure what they are called) next to me.
