I love your custom setup. It looks great; very creative! I put your image in the quote so it appears larger for everyone! ;)

J-Tree is fun. My wife and I have vacationed there every year for 6 years in except for the years where kids were being born or she was prego. There are lots of interesting mine sites to visit, especially on the east side of the park. Berdoo Canyon is cool if your entering / exiting from the south.

Pretty basic so far. Just a road trip down to Austin to see a friend with a few days camping in Pace Bend SP and Davis Mountains SP. I'm used to public land camping and so felt a bit guilty paying for a site, however they were both quite nice. Texas is almost all privately owned and with so many damn guns I wasn't about to go off exploring since I was alone.

Working on plans for custom over-bed rack with the core as a Thule MOAB. Will be exploring national forests in VA and WV this summer.

Pace Bend is a very well maintained SP, just about 45min from Austin. Lots of boating activity nearby plus river access for swimming on site.

The clear boxes are underbed storage with bifold tops. They fit with just an inch or so under my Roll-n-Lock tonneau and are hella cheap. Plus they have wheels on the bottom which fit almost perfetly in a 1st gen's bed ridges.

I went a bit uhh, crazy with the bungie cords. Hell though, I've had an empty 2.5 gallon can that wasn't strapped down come out and get plastered by a trucker going 70+.

Davis Mountains is almost as far west as Big Bend but not as close to Mexico.

Come on, just a bit closer.

Yes I know I'm a heathen for posting this, but it is still camping and shows how I once had the basket setup. Plus if nothing else it's anti-ricer, so that should count for something. Taken out in the middle of the Black Rock Desert, NV [ie where Burning Man is held].

Except those are not SOF uniforms, PEQ-15's are used by SOF, not a MILSPEC suppressor, no plates in the plate carrier, and so on and so on.

    Nice trailer.

Joshua Tree NP, Ryan Campground? 1st picture, Looking East towards Ryan Mnt. I've never camped there, but have passed through before. Looks just lovely. :)
