If the TPMS are already on your truck, then there is no reprogramming needed. They just swap over.

The good year in Kaneohe swapped the Duratracs I bought from them from my 7089's over to the stock wheels for just under $100 with balancing in April of last year. I have bought a few sets of tires from the Kaneohe Lex Brodies (the assistant manager used to drive a lifted Frontier) and they would always (3 times) swap wheels for me for free since as long as I could drop just the wheels and tires off, so they didn't have to use the lift time.

 

First mistake is going to the counter. It may not work everywhere, but go to the work bay and talk to the installer. And bring cash! Not going to get anyone in trouble, but i did that at a goodyear location. $80 swapping tires on 2 sets of rims, balanced all 8. Bringing them loose also helps.

 

oh yeah the service manager in the garage at Goodyear in Kaneohe is the man! he has changed 2 moped tires for me for free. Yeah stay away from the "salesmen" inside. cash is king

 

This sounds good. Rex Tire is owned by Toyota/ Servco.

 

Going to Safety Systems Hawaii to get my tank filled tomorrow. They said $30-$35 for 10lbs. of CO2. Not too bad since most people on the mainland say $25.

 

Do it your self at the auto hobby shop on one of the bases. It's cheap and the folks that work there will show you how to do it.

 

This guy I know owns his own shop, Mod Industries, down sand island. When i upgraded my tires my dad took my old rugged trails and put them on his truck. Dave (the owner) swapped 4 tires, tpms, balanced for $80 but i think normally would be around 100 - 120? His father in law is retired HPD so he's hpd friendly too if any of u guys stay cops..

 

x2 for mod industries, great shop, great prices. swapped 8 of my tires out and did my tpms, all for 100 bucks. sounded like a deal to me. also bought some rims and tires from him before that, can't beat him. too bad he doesnt deal in more 'off road' type wheels and tires, but he does carry the XD series and whatnot.

 

streamline performance, located on Democrat St in kalihi off nimitz. cheap and good. just call to see how busy they are.
if not js4kixs down the street is just as good.

frick i go home to kauai and i get a job (even a career kind of job) in 2 days. I dont have the connections here like i do back there.

Did anybody get FX-R's and halo's from Ambiguous? I was thinking of getting some in the future after seeing Datsik's build. Noob/stupid question alert: There's no way in hell that you're passing a safety check with those... right?

I put them on my RECON papers and the guy didn't seem to notice. I used to just swap in some old stock lights for safety.

I bought mine from TRS

 

The guy I went to even BS with me about them and thought they were pretty badass. He passed me.

 

What kine sub idid you end up getting for you truck?

 

If u go and get certified for nurse aide plenty of hospitals and nurse homes hiring.. Hospitals better less chances of having to shower/clean up people.. And if u get yourself certified then pay starting is 15-18 an hour.. Course is like 8-10 weeks only..
