Anyone want to go out to Moab for a couple days during the week of april 1st? I just really can't wait and I have time off. Either that or maybe make plans for trails that are closer but without snow.

I've been slacking on mods lately as well. Im thinking the next mod im going to do after i get my carrier bearing replaced is probably going to be new Dakar leaf packs or upgrading my sound system. Focal Speakers and Fosgate subs.

 

I keep forgetting to ask, if I lifted my truck will my stock bumps still protect me from bottoming out shocks?

If the shocks are still the same length of travel and you just added larger springs then yes. I think. It depends on your set up. What did you go with?

Yah, it depends on how thick your leaf pack is too. If its thicker than stock you´ll bottom out sooner, which can help if the replacement shock is longer than stock.

But with the setup you have, you´re fine

 

For those of you who are familiar with moab. I´m going to be driving through there on my way back to Denver. I´m plannin on camping there if its not too cold. Any good spots I should check out? Hopefully something thats not just a dirt lot on the side of the highway. I´ll be with my girlfriend and a little senic drive would be a nice break from the 14 hours of highway driving.

As far as wheeling or just traveling? For travel, you could take 128 out of Moab. It follows the Colorado River and is very scenic and beautiful. Otherwise you can check out Arches National Park or Sand Flats Recreation Area.

We found this awesome sandstone cave once before when we were using ATV's. You could walk all the way through it to the other side. If only I could remember where that was.

 

I´m not planning on going off roading, but I would like to camp somewhere scenic. I´ll look into the 128. Thanks

Haha if only I didn´t have finals. I´d love to spend a week out in moab sometime. I´ve got unlimited storage space with the trailer to. We just need to go sometime thats not at the end of may-beginning of june!
