    I used to drive a lowered Corolla. It's wasn't lowered on purpose, I just didn't want to fix it. Put the repair money down on my Tacoma and sold the Corolla to a chem major. I was pretty surprised when I was visiting friends still in college to see my Corolla zipping around town one day (she left my bumper stickers on it!). Mostly surprised because I didn't think it would last that long. Never underestimate a Toyota.

    Mine is a 2009 with 231,000 miles...still doing well! The little cars don't really do it for me anymore, much prefer the Tacoma. :)

    I think I had a 1998 Corolla. I got it with only 45K on it in 2004, sold it in 2011 with ~190K on it. All it needed was some regular maintenance and replacement of worn-out parts; there really wasn't anything *wrong* with it, but it was expensive stuff that I didn't want to pay for when I was about to buy the Tacoma anyway. I loved that car! But yeah, I like my Tacoma now, those little tiny cars aren't really my thing any more.
