    Cutting IS required.. You have to cut out the center section of the factory grill. This is pretty easily accomplished with an air powered body saw however.

    Aside from that, all you'll need is an allen wrench, and 1/4 socket or wrench.. Installation is very simple and straight forward.. Took about an hour which included the simple plug and play wiring..

    Yours looks great, but I knew it must be too good to be true. I'm not very handy and certainly don't trust myself to cut the grille. $500 without light....... Wonder why the website says no cutting?:confused:

    Yeah, I don't really see how it could be installed without cutting.. But again, it really is very easy.. Even if you had a shop do it, shouldn't take more than an hour to get the job done.. Mine was cut, installed, and wired in an hour..

    Price is definitely high though, no doubt about that.. :eek:

    I just went back to the pics on page 2 of this thread (after I went out and did everything short of taking my grill off) and are there a series of bolts that you can't see until you take the thing off? When you have less than 2k miles on the truck cutting still sounds like a bad idea. However... I really like that grill.

    Hey man, really it is totally worth it. Believe me, I was hesitant about cutting as well, but it is very easy, and leads to a super clean install.. The factory grill is just clipped in at the bottom, so remove the few top bolts, and gently pull up.. Then you are home free;).. I really love the look of this thing. Rigid's build quality, and fitment is very impressive!

    That looks way nice. Anybody done a TRD OR? We have the chrome surround. Not a huge fan of chrome, but love the truck.

    Not sure why Rigid said no cutting, but after looking into a few of the threads its required. It doesnt look hard at all though. The instructions that Rigid includes dont help very much.
