Hey guys, I'm installing my front glass and have a question about the antennae. How did you go about removing it and what did you do with it afterwards to keep it functional? I don't know why my pictures keep showing up sideways. :sorry: Help would be appreciated!

The top chrome looking piece unscrews and you can pull the whole thing out.
There's nothing you can really do with the antenna up front that doesn't look retarded. I tried zip tieing it horizontally under the fenderwell, but lets just say that doesn't work to well for radio waves.

I ended up buying a replacement antenna from Fry's and routing it to the rear of the truck. You can see it here, behind the cab, just to the right of the dust light.

Umm...uhh...i meant as if you were looking at the dust light from the front of the truck? Yeah, that's it.

Fawk....and yes....they are phenomenal, especially when you mix in a shot of jack every now and again.

Good! I can hold a coffee cup now.
Still pinch hitting on most everything now.

I'm sure everyone's truck is different, but I tried two different types of those and got complete garbage reception. Fry's hated me for a few weeks cause I was returning everything I bought.

How does it compare to the stock one?

I bought one of these and never installed it, just strapped the oem one in the wheel well.

Your probably right. Might have been the brand as well.

I dont think it is quite as good as the factory one but I dont have any complaints. I used it for years and still do off and on but mostly use sirius or my phone with pandora.

I was talking to the driver of the rally fighter last weekend before he left for the baja 250, the reason it was bucking so bad when it flipped was because they changed the spring rate the day before, and didn't test or tune before the race, he said it was a mistake but you learn from your mistakes just like bj baldwin at the baja 250

are there any trucks running those coilover/bypasses? in a performance application? im sure some bro brah truck has them. but im curious how they preform since it is an interesting concept...

would it be like an internal bypass... just longer so it can be an external? as far as concept goes
