shooting pins is so much fun...I bought 30 of them a while back for a buck a piece. ended up selling enough of them on craigslist for 5 bucks a piece that I made my money back, I haven't even retired one yet....

My friend found a place the has been getting their lowers despite the shortage. 200 bucks... I know little on market prices when it come to building them price vs quality ... Is that a good price for their lowers?

That's a good price for ANY lower if you need one right now. Hell, I've seen plastic... I mean Polymer lowers sell for more than that these days. Crazy times we live in.

Need some advice on what I'm guessing will need to be a universal type IWB holster for Ruger 22/45. I'm taking my CCW class on the 30th and don't have the time to try and make my own kydex or something like that.

Anyone know of a decent holster that might work? I'm thinking a universal 1911 might work okay since the grip body is a near carbon copy, but the barrel is obviously a little different.

    Any help is appreciated!

Contact Steve at ColoradoHolster.com & tell him Jer sent ya.

Full disclosure: Steve is a good friend of mine but you won't find better customer service or a better product and his prices are more than competitive. The turn around time is also WAY faster than any other Kydex holster maker out there. Where more are quoting months he's quoting weeks and if you tell him you need it by the 30th he'll have it to you by then.

I've always allowed .22 in my classes. We don't have to qualify with a specific carry piece in MO, only a revolver and a semi-auto.

No issues with .22 and in Nebraska, at least from the course literature the instructor has already sent us, there's no distinction between revolver or semi-auto.

Lots of instructors are making changes to requirements as ammo prices and availability changes to help keep classes full. Not everyone can find 1,500rds of rifle ammo for a weekend class and those that can don't want to blow through it in a couple days at the prices they have to pay to acquire it. Some people understand how critical training is and don't feel that the 'cost' associated is a big deal when compared to the knowledge/experience gained but most people get caught up on the figures beforehand.
