Looks interesting. There's an area similar to that (kinda) here east of Lancaster city. It's called the Goat Path.
    http://www.alpsroads.net/roads/pa/pa_23/1.html

The local R/C airplane club uses the road bed as their runway.
    It's creepy!

I hiked through one of the tunnels about 2 years ago. It's pretty creepy. There's 2 or 3 tunnels if I'm not mistaken. One of them is the tunnel they used in the movie 'The Road' with Viggo Mortensen. If your going into the tunnel make sure to take a good flashlight. You can't see the other side when entering the tunnel.

These are some of the pictures I took while I was walking on the abandoned turnpike. These are from winter 2011.

Its about 2 hours from campus.

From what I read, the tunnels are part of a bike path...but they aren't lit. Definitely some zombie shit goes down there.

Homer, did I see your truck cruising down Street Road in Southhampton on Wed afternoon late? I was buzzing through traffic and a lifted black Taco caught my eye in oncoming traffic. I thought it was you, no one else has a truck that looks half as good as yours in the area.
