    Howdy strangers! i got a quick question for the 4x4 guys here

    i am replacing my front axle seals because they leaked like crazy last week. I pulled on the front axle and the sleeve inside the differential and the shaft going to the tire side separated..... now this may seem stupid, but is that normal? On my four wheelers those shafts have a little clip that keeps them from separating (making it real easy to pull out of the diff) if yall know please let me know.

    Worse then it being under the seat? I'm thinking of building a small stand over it. The amp is 2 3/8" high so I figured a 4" stand so it has air flow

    well i appreciate it guys, i started a thread to see if anyone else knows. Im gonna take it to the dealership tomorrow and show it to them because they just recently replaced it. Funny how the seal leaks right after they changed the axle. Axle was warrantied but the seals are not haha.

    I had an oem seal fail on me a week after install too. My mechanic figured it was just a bad seal :notsure: used a diff brand and no issues
