Man I don't know your budget, but an 00+ miata with the 6-speed gets fairly good mileage, not much cargo though, but super cheap and reliable.

The newer elantras are really nice and reasonable. An impreza would give you awd, although the impreza you'd probably want isn't cheap...

Mini probably isn't a bad choice. Car shopping is awesome! lol

It's kind of a 20-year-old girl's car, but a TC with the 6-speed would be a decent option.

Or an 08+ focus... I hate the first gen's looks with a passion, but the 08-11 gen and the new gen aren't as ugly as their predecessors, and they're pretty good cars.

Geez, I go out of town for a while, come back, Dave's bought junk, broke junk, buying more junk, and justin's selling his junk. Cats and dogs, sleeping together, crazy I tell you. Crazy!

My junk is still sitting in the driveway waiting on some brake pad and CV boots... dammit I need more time.

Looks good Kyle! Can't wait to see the finished product!

Justin, you'll find the right car. Maybe take another look at Hyundai? No one in their right mind would mod a Hyundai.

Justin, it will be a sad day to see your truck gone. I'd love to buy parts from you, but mine is a 1st gen. I hope you will still hang out here and go wheeling with us once in a while though!

Hey Brian, there is a new member thread of a guy who is in Russia and bought a Tacoma. He just recently joined TW. Thought you might enjoy meeting him. He lives on the east coastal area, near a big island off the coast (Can't remember the name, and couldn't spell it if I did! hahaha)

    Looking sick man! Love it.

Got a buddy whose bro in law works for carmax as a mechanic. He works on everything that comes in, and says if he had to buy a car made in the past 5 years, Hyundai is his pic. Says they (generally speaking) have very few problems, and great warranty service.
