Agreed. I'm assuming that was with the silencers in place? I used to have a GReddy Ti-C system (very similar to this Invidia setup) on my Altima Coupe. It was pretty loud with the silencers in...without them it was BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP...

*sigh* Call me crazy but I love the way 4-bangers sound.

 

test drove one when i picked up the tacoma in february, insane car, i read so much on it and then sat in it. My 6'4", 200lb frame isnt too comfortable in it so I went with option two, and I love that one. haha, enjoy man, shes a beast.

 

Can I ask what was uncomfortable for you? I'm 6'3", 210lbs and the FRS is one of the most comfortable cars I've been in. Just curious is all.

If I hadn't needed a truck, I'd be driving that little car right now!

 

Some folks just don't like the "cockpit" feel...
I am of similar size - 6'2 210lbs and I found the FRS to be very comfy.

I really like the FRS but if I could get a car like this it would be the 2nd Gen MR2.

Yeah, the sport seats dug into my back a bit, im average build guy but it just was awkward. The thing fit like a glove, but I would think about my hour in to work and back everyday and i ultimately thought it was just too much. I had a smaller car before the truck but it was a spacey interior. Could have been something I could have gotten used to i suppose...just a bad feeling.

 

i love the fr-s, probably one of the only cars I would buy. The black accents you had photoshopped look sick too! i really like the black around the 86 emblem

Yea I love the driver's seat cockpit style seating. I'm 6'1", 195 and its comfy for me. The black accents and black tint will probably wait until after the easier N/A performance mods. I will most likely choose an exhaust kit instead of a custom made exhaust as it is removable and I can put stock back in....just in case.

Air intake is next after exhaust, the intake whistle is a sweet sound, it already does it but the air intake I feel is kinda blocked.

 

My wife said let us know when you get the exhaust and how you like it. She liked the way it sounded but wasn't sure it was deep enough. Hard to tell with the laptop. She might want one for her's. It sounded deep enough to me.

 

Not sure how deep a 4 banger is gonna get...

But I will definitely let you know!
