    If you're already planning to maybe put the tweeters at the sail panel, I would suggest you just use some velcro and try them there, try them near the OEM location, try them up on the A pillar, etc. See which one you like best before making anything permanent.

    OK today was the day i received my head unit...crutchfield included a dash kit and a harness..the first problem I ran into was removing the hazard button and clock from the original radio...I did my best but i butchered the original tacoma head unit but salvaged the hazard bar and clock just fine...I could not find any pics on this topic or videos...seems like most places by pass and jump into putting everything back in...

    im still missing my speaker cables and my 4chan RCA so all I got done today was hooking up the amp and wiring the head unit.... sorry for no pics ive been working since 3 and playing with it for the last 2 hours.... I will post more pics up soon..

    Stock tacoma speakers with a subwoofer and aftermarket headunit = LAME

    cant wait to finish this project...

    all in...started monday hooked up power and amp and my RCA and speaker wire was still in the mail...today it all went in
