    I have had a 200-250lb camper shell on the back of mine for just over a month now and have lost a full inch of suspension. Once I hit 800lbs total I'm almost on the bumpstops :(. My hat off to you sir if you got 2,000 lbs on stock springs.

    I've done 600-800 pounds before and I thought that was a lot. More than 2 or 3 times that weight is so not good for the truck. Glad you got to where you were going safe. Here is Arizona they ticket people for that. We've had soooo many accidents because of overloaded and unsafe loads on vehicles.
