    yes, I did. There was a narrow spot open with a car on one side and a tallish curb on the otherside. I went to pull in and I couldn't make it without going on the curb, so I gave it a bit of gas and the tires chirped loud enough to get all the pedestrian's attention. :anonymous:

    They get pics of your face with plenty of clarity. Then run the plates. If its not your vehicle the the owner will be fined. That would be between the owner and the person that borrowed the vehicle. Lose lose situation. We could read the words on my buddys shirt and hat.

    People try this argument all the time- If the people who enforced the laws had to be perfect- We'd be in a state of anarchy cause no one could enforce anything. I'm guilty of speeding and sundry other violations.
    What I don't do is look for illegal means to continue to do illegal things. I stop at lights (by the big white stop line, for a few seconds so it's obvious).
    You wanted an opinion on those plate covers- You got several.

    As far as the "revenue" thing- They do it to enforce the laws- The revenue is great- Cause it means when folks like you pay your tickets or court fees...That money gets used for something and I don't have to pay more in taxes.

    You should've just not put your plate on...my mom had a friends when she was younger who would buy a car and not put the plate on for like a year or so just to run red lights.

    Extremely stupid idea and I don't recommend it but it's on your shoulders now.
