The Baja having just 5100's is a big misconception. If all you want is the look, yes you can do 5100's...

That's kinda what I'm hinting at. A lift is fine, but I'm interested in having a factory-proven setup without risking driveline vibrations or bad on-road manners. It would be interesting to see if these parts are ever offered off-the-shelf.

Looks like this truck is still new to being released. I went to 2 dealers and talked to a few others on the phone and only one of them knew what I was talking about. Most of the trucks are going through the assembly line as we speak. Just placed an order for my Tacoma TRD Baja in white and still working on getting all the specs. Truck will hit the assembly line in a week and should have it in a month. The Baja package is not an upgrade on top of the TRD package or at least it was not in my price quote, just hard to get in limited production. Looks like it is the same setup as the 2012 but has a different shift knob. Will let everyone know the specs as soon as I find out to help others make a decision or comment.

I wish my auto had that style e-brake. The push one is a PITA imho. My old Toyota was manual and I loved that brake. Plus it gave me something to fidget with in traffic.

Sometimes I miss the three-pedal setup.

There are ways to build, that the Toyota site doesn't show. I actually did a "build" for a reg. cab Tundra 4wd with the 5.7L (yes they exist). Anyhow, try building a Tacoma and you'll get to a part for the TX pkg. Tipping my hand, I've been thinking of getting a different 2nd truck. Don't ask me much on the site, I haven't actually gone through my credit union and tried the system out yet.

Unobtanium for anyone without a Baja or a friend in parts. Toyota won't let you order more than one at a time. I called over 20 dealerships trying to get a set back in the fall.

Why don't you just order 1 at a time? I doubt it's as easy as that though. They are a pita when you try to order "special edition" parts.

I like the black ones because I have a silver truck. Not sure how the bronze would look with silver, but they are easy to find.

I think they look good on silver, even the black ones are expensive/scarce. Paitence I guess. I got my set with tires already mounted for $1000 shipped.
