So what would you do just roll over and let someone hurt you or take advantage of you? Thats the problem with a lot of Americans these days they are becoming wimps. Hell parents that drink wheat grass and won't spank their kids and drive a Prius yet don't know how to kill a chicken for food. Don't even get me started.

I usually unlock my door with the key anyway, just what I am used to, rarely use the fob except when I need to get in the passenger door which does not have a keyhole for some reason.

How much of a problem was that for you before having that feature?

Oh shit. I didn't think of that. I had the dealer turn off the beep when I unlock my truck as a courtesy to my neighbors since I leave for work at 3am. That and I want to reduce my audible footprint when zombies become more or a common every day concern.
Zombies (and minor annoyance) are also the reasons I'd like to open all the doors on one button press instead of 2.

Now that you bring up the auto lock (if nobody opens the door after so many seconds) I need to add that to the list.

I really expected more answers than stupid comments. This might be a first world problem by I'm not going to feel guilty about it. Just like I don't feel guilty that half of Africa is infected with AIDS. I didn't ask for this feature. It was probably an solution to a problem that didn't exist.

How is it so hard to press a button twice, are people really this lazy? I don't even use the fob, I still manually unlock my door.

Don't think most of America's drivers now would have survived 20 years ago when cars were all manual and mechanical instead of electronic and computerized now.

It's got nothing to do with pussification or being lazy. It's over engineering a solution to a problem that never existed.

Good for you guys that claim to still use the key. I'm sure your manual dexterity gets you all the ladies. No doubt you use the old hand crank drill over a Dewalt cordless because anything otherwise you'd grow a vagina.

In Boulder they drive a Prius and raise chickens in town. These badasses make their own soap too.
