They are for specific race applications where you can only have one shock per corner (a coilover is considered a shock). Still easily adjustable with the external bypass.

A budy is building a cherokee for TREC racing by us but decided to just run a coil spring and then bypass for his shock. In his class you can on use a 14" travel shock.

I read He's putting in a built Pinto motor 300hp+...

Don't think there is enough room for a LS motor with the Center mount setup. :notsure:

if someone could give me some quick insight... i have my coil overs mounted and everything is fine and dandy except the hose to the resi's... when i set it to where it will go on the frame, the hose bends into/inbetween the coils(full droop).

whats the best way to go about tweaking the resivoir or fitting on the shock itself to get it to stay out of the coils?

the shocks are pressurized and i do not want to do anything that will de-pressurize them as good ol Houston Texas makes it hard to find any place that can refill shocks... only option is a motorcycle shop but thats not an option at the moment.

in this pic, the resivoir is not all the way against the frame, but when pushed against it, the hose drops inbetween the section of coil it is closest too in the picture.

where can i find a spanner wrench for king 2.5 coil overs? i looked online and there are other brand specific ones, but not for king. i know i can use a piece of solid stock and hit it to spin but id rather buy the right tool for the job.
