Why can't i find another prerunner like mine?

I have silver 5100's 2in longer than stock from wheelers offroad which are RCD (Race Car Dynamics) specs.

 

That makes sense. i found out my truck used to work for Sharps Home Centers. So it was carrying lots of weight.

 

No only the front 5100s are adjustable. You can take the add a leaf out if you want the rear end lower

Hmm maybe thats what my shocks are. but with an added leaf i have even more lift.. I'd like to lower mine a little bit, its harder to load stuff in and out when my truck is 4 inches taller than it used to be.

 

On the fronts just looks like normal trd yellow shocks/spring set up which someone might of put. Alot of people sell their trd strut set ups just look on here.

 

How much lower would that give me?

 

probably about 2". Gotta remember tacomas have a rake from the factory so the ass ends normally sits about 1 to 1.5 higher in rear than front.

 

Stock height. I dont know what you are at now, you said 4" but it should be more like 2" so roughly 2" lower

 

The same ones i have? I'll keep mine, I can't afford any work on the truck. I am taking ROP classes and might intern for a toyota dealer service center, i can't risk not having a reliable source of transportation at any time. whether its just a few days or not..

I always worry having such a stiff ride will damage something.. Tires, axel, Something.. It's reaaaally stiff. If i hit a parking lot ramp at more than 5-8 mph it nearly feels like i'm in a solid steel sedan with no shocks.

What does fender to center of hub measure? Or what size tires specifically

Almost all trucks feel worse on speed bumps than a car. If you had 400-800 lb , the ride would feel better. Try hitting bumps at an angle, often the double jolt feels better than 2 tires hitting at once.

 

Tires not wheels, 245/75/16? 265/70/16? Most people on here compare suspension heights by measuring from the center of the hub to the fender, because that measurments will not change with different sized tires.

 

Thanks! i'll try that. yeah, the jolt of the 2 tires hitting also affects my engine in 1st with a jump. Is that harmful? It also does it if i'm going over bumps in town ( i live in a valley with parallel streets so there's hundreds upon hundreds of dips. and sometimes my engine jumps when i'm going over them at lower speeds.

Does it have the AC outlet in the bed?

Looks to me like a 6 lug, 4 cyl. base model (non-TRD) with some suspension upgrades in the rear.

 

No, No outlet sadly. It was originally from the factory a base prerunner, then the owner put trd in the front and a few upgrades in the back. Including an extra leaf spring.
