I have them.adjusted about 3 inches from top, so I have a lot more to go honestly. I do note want to jepordize travel by over pre loading. 700 lb springs on order

You cannot change total travel by extra pre loading. The total travel from full down travel to full up travel is limited by our mid-travel setups--the UCAs, LCAs, etc. All that extra pre-loading does is put your vehicle into further down-travel at ride height (ie., lift the front of the truck up). This results in less down travel left before reaching maximum down-travel. However, if the weight of aftermarket steel bumpers and winches and skid plates is causing the front end to droop beyond what the preload adjuster can adjust for, then maybe it's time for a higher spring rate spring--which you have or are getting -- 700 lbs/in. Let me know how you like the setup/ride quality after you install your 700lb springs. I've got mine in my garage and am still waiting to get around to it.

Little note for you about the ICON spring engineering used on these coilovers. Our 13 x 650 spring can be preloaded till the threads stop and you will still get full travel of the shock.

It's a linear rate spring so preload will not change the rate like most think it will. When adjusting your coilover up to 3" or more you start loosing droop travel, this is one thing that is important to have if you want to keep a decent ride. No droop travel and you will feel it toping out all the time over bumps and dips on or off road. We recommend keeping a minimum 1.5" of droop travel (at the wheel measurement). The next factor is arm angle and the way it leverages the coil over. If you run max lift it will change the leverage on the coilover with the arms at a steeper angle and slightly affect the ride quality. Up to 3" lift there should be no issue. Last we can not over look the wheel and tire package that is usually installed in unison with the suspension. This can and will change the ride. If you run a larger wheel with a smaller side wall that minimizes sidewall flex, that will firm up the ride. Tire rating, if they are "E" rated you will feel that in the cab. Then you have tire pressure to consider as well.

The purpose of the increased rate 700lb spring is for when substantial weight over stock has been added. You need to be adding a good 200+ lbs to even require the use of this coil.

At the end It's a big picture, and ride is so subjective relating to many different factors of your set up and overall conditions. Would be glad to chat with ya further if you want, message me a number and I will give you a call.

Wheres the link on HOW TO Change the Spring on the Coil-Overs with Remote Resi's?

Is it the same process, you just unscrew the preload ring, then slice the springs over the Remote Resi?

Or does the remote need to be removed?

As a thought, knowing the parts you bought were not inexpensive, won't they send a set of proper springs to swap on?

Did yours come with 600 or 700 since you are looking for 650.

I was under the impression the ICONs came with 650 unless spec'd otherwise. Maybe I'm wrong about.

They do come with the 650#. I ordered the 700# on mine though. The kkicker is, my armor will not be in for some time. SO I do not want to run the 700#'s til I do have the armor on her.
