I've heard tale that when that happens, you're to pass along retro headlights to a same color truck with similar mileage that's in TX :D

Only 170,900 something. Just r/r'd the carrier bearing. Other than that - nary a lick o' trouble.

You guys ever get the thought that it gets boring racking up the miles and the damn thing doesn't break? Hear me out, I feel bad if I buy a new truck when mine still works perfectly. I know the ins and outs of my truck and there's no surprise anymore. I love it, but something new is always nice. I'm damn proud that its running, maybe I'm itching for a different color, or just new seats. Lol

Congrats on the truck, and it sounds as if it has been mostly trouble free. Hope mine gets me another 5-7 trouble free years. At 62K mine still has the stock tires on it, and they still have 5/32 of the 10/32 they came with. Not a single repair either.

Thanks man. I had an old 5 lug before and they were a blast to drive! I'm sure your truck will last you forever, if you want to keep it that long! The best part was parts like tires were cheap! Never a problem on the wallet

Does anyone know if I'll get a new car from Toyota if I hit a million miles? Maybe a trophy... or at least some sort of recognition from them...

lol... I'll find an excuse to spend another 30 grand on gas to rack up 150k to get even. Since I moved much closer to work now, I've been slow to rack up miles, which is good since I do get tired of driving that much... these seats aren't that great man and the roads ride like they've been done by child labor.

'97 5-speed with 170,000+ Had to install new exhaust valves around 120,000 after pulling a small but loaded Uhaul from Alaska to Montana. Low compression now - rings. I'll just overhaul & keep going. Is there an overhaul thread?
