I thought I was being careful spraying odds n ends while my Tacoma was parked out side , but its got a good coating of over spray on it. You can't see it but you can feel the paint is rough to the touch.
I was told lacquer thinner and elbow grease would take it off with out hurting the paint. Then to wax it afterwards.

    Any suggestions?

Was about to mention the same thing. I sprayed bed liner underneath my entire truck and got overspray all over. Felt like sand paper, really freaked me out. I washed it and clay barred the entire thing. Took like 4 hours but it worked out great. As far as what clay bar, I guess what ever brand is fine I guess. I used McGuire's.

If you wanna get it done right, clay bar will remove it. I did the same thing to my 2011 and I got tired of rubbing and paid a friend whos a professional detailer to remove mine. Mine was pretty bad. I ended up paying him like $200 to do the whole thing, but when he was done he waxed it and it was good as new. Make sure you do it right when you do...otherwise you could scratch it depending on how bad it is...

x2. After you clay bar, you might need to follow up with a polish and definitely a coat of wax. Dish soap strips all the wax off the truck so you'll need to replace it. Darker colors might require the intermediate step of polish after clay bar to remove any slight scratches left behind from the clay bar process, light colors you still should but it's not really required. I like wash, clay bar, Meguiars Ultimate Compound, then your favorite wax.

Sorry OP forgot to mention that..you must wax after you clay the finish of your vehicle..as far as paying someone well to clay isn't hard just time consuming..but if you got a couple of hundred dollars burning a hole in your pocket go for it.
