Agreed. It looks like a base regular cab that someone added a poor mix of suspension to. Adding front shocks and coilovers that someone tossed from another truck does not make it a TRD edition.

OP, I didn't see you actually say its 4wd (then not a prerunner), or its 2wd.. and the 6lug and all would be a pre-runner for sure.

Fwiw if i'm not mistaken a pre-runner is nothing more than a 2wd w 6 lugs but subtract x-fer case/4whl drive and no front driving axle.
Also don't all TRD have the inverter, yellow bilstien shocks and aluminum wheels at least?

Please, educate us more on your truck being a Standard Cab, 4 Cyl TRD...

BTW, these two configurations alone, independent of one another are the only setups that dont have a TRD option.

This.....Like rubbing a dogs nose in the trash he just went into...

I don't think OP said he had a TRD, it just got mis-interpreted in the fray. Your quote of him was his reference to 2 front yellow shocks , aka trd confusion.

Previous owner used to haul heavy loads, so he put an AAL on it and TRD front suspension with a lift and custom rear suspension for added weight capacity. I recently installed a tow package (Curt with lifetime warranty) So i will definitely see what this thing can handle as far as weight goes.
This post was SPECIFICALLY on suspension. Not the entire truck. With the original post i said it was base from the factory with no features. Pure truck. Windsheld wipers, Cd player, turn signals, NOTHING ELSE BUT A TRUCK. ZERO FEATURES OTHER THAN THE SUSPENSION Look at it. It'll tell you. THE SUSPENSION Is trd the rear suspension, is also bilstein off road. The rear is not the normal trd suspension. The rear is weird. The previous owner knew what he wanted. It was a work truck for Sharps Home Centers moving heavy loads. So he added a leaf to stiffen it up. That is what i learned from this, and thank you to all the people who helped me learn a little bit more about my trucks SUSPENSION. I was and am very aware of the features of a factory TRD. Any toyota enthusiast does. Anyway, Thanks to all who helped answer my questions! :)

Dealer told me the owner added the suspension before a single mile was put on the truck. He knew what he was doing. otherwise he would have just got a normal TRD with all the benefits of having a makeshift "locker" that you can use at 5mph and an outlet that just makes your truck a less fuel efficient generator on wheels. I am happy with my truck, The back rides a little stiff but i love my truck. I don't need expensive features to own what i think is a badass ride lots of people would surly love to own. Most people with TRD hardly if ever use the options. If i could have a TRD, I would. But just cause i don't doesn't effect the great reputation of a simple, down and dirty- no extra's Toyota Truck.
