I could be wrong but i believe your rear magpul iron sight is on backwards! its is to the best of my knowledge, and that being that i just put one on my rifle, supposed to bend backwards toward the stock not forward like you have it.

I think your right, it doesn't make much difference besides the wind age adjustments are backwards.
Were you referring to me and the BCG?

Ya its fu*king ridiculous. The demand for guns went through the roof, you can't find anything anywhere unless you pay top dollar. Then you have to search for ammo

My pops is a gun collector, he told me the shelves and cases are empty at all his local gun shops (in FL). I'm in Hawaii, finding guns out here is like a needle in a haystack. Very strict gun control laws, guess thats why its one of the safest places to live in America.

 Hahaha that's funny man, keep up the jokes! Oh wait, you weren't kidding...

You're talking about Hawaii, which was a state with hardly any guns to start with, and which is a VERY young state.

Look at this data. Your population has about doubled since 1960, but yet your violent crime rate has increased by 29 Times. If gun control was working, that number would be decreasing. Murder may be lower, but the majority of gun crimes don't involve murder anyways. Gun control isn't doing anything in Hawaii, or anywhere else in the country. Look at D.C. and Chicago. You wanna tell me that their "very strict gun control laws" are working? Nice try. I don't care what side of politics you're on, and I know we aren't supposed to talk about politics here, but that statement was ridiculous man. Seriously.

Edit: Oh, and you still have a higher crime and murder rate than Wyoming, which is in the top 3 gun-owning % states in the Nation. Explain that one. I can; people in Wyoming have a hell of a lot more ethics than the gang-bangers in D.C. and Chicago.

Most of them never fired a gun and afraid of guns. I have friends like that, funny about 15 years ago a nut that killed a gas station clerk ended up being chased through our community. Cops and chopper flying, my friend called me to go to his house to protect his wife.
Took my Mossberg Bullpup was stopped at the end of my road by cops, I had to get out of my car so they could search it. I told them I searched my home/ land, told me "nice shotgun" and went to a freaked out woman who hated guns.
Funny how happy she was to see me.

I wanted to say I purchased my first 223/5.56 last year and its fun to shoot but its such a small round. I have had a lot of hand guns, 22's, shotgun's, 30-30 and so on. I like the .223/556 guns (have pistol & carbine) but it's just a high power 22. I do like the piston ones for cleaning reasons. I read about they have no stopping power and yes they can shoot through vests. I'm just used to a .45acp, am I the only one that would rather have a 7.62x51/308 or 7.62x39.
    Just my 2 cents.

you can throw a 7.62x39 upper on and you have a hunting gun, or a battle rifle.
the only problem i know about with the x39 upper is reliable mags are not as common as 223 mags.

Something I will look into. Don't get me wrong I like shooting 223 but for home-d I like shotguns or big round hand guns. I have a Sig 716 its a beast (10lbs) but I love my lean mean Winchester 30-30.
The 223 is nice I just don't understand it. And as I look at it I love it:rolleyes:
