Help!!! Lots corrosion on my shocks

    Hi guys,

    I got this Fox Factory Series shocks installed in beginning of Jan and now it has lots of corrosion on them after only 3 months on my truck.
    The ring for adjusting preload on one side is completely locked could not make it move even with a spring compressor. I am assuming that corrosion is stopping it to move.Another side has corrosion too but ring is moving hardly. Is this a quality issue? I brought it brand new from ORW in Dec last year and had only ran them for over 3 months now. what should I do??

    depends on what conditions you drive in

    scrub that stuff down a drizzle boeshield on it from now on if it bugs you

    I've got some similar issues on the bodies of my Fabtech Dirt Logic coil overs....everytime I wash the truck I scrub them down and also use a detail spray (Pig Spit) to protect/prevent corrosion. After a year I have slight surface rust forming.

    Yours may have corroded faster due to exposure to rock salt.:confused: Without regular washing rock salt really does a number on metal. Luckily they don't really use that stuff down here in VA Beach ;)
