    Basically, the boat is going to be in shipyard in Oregon from April to June, so I'll have weekends off. Going to have a few weeks off somewhere in between there also, just not too sure when it will be.

    Have a trip planned from WA to San Diego when I have a few weeks off, but it'd be great to do some day trips on the weekends as well.

    Whipsaw looks totally do-able, and a lot of fun as well.

    Hells Canyon is doable on a long weekend. I'm thinking May but I might have a little more flexibility than you for getting time off.

    Whipsaw is a late summer trip at the earliest. I don't think its accessible before July.
