I want a bumper like this for my sec gen minus the tubing around the lights. Anybody know who manufactures this ? Maybe somewhere on the east coast

 

I only washed the outside with car shampoo. Didn't get to clay bar it either. Detailed the shit out of the interior though. Clay bar and a sealant will come this spring.

Hahaha. Brought the clay bar with me but it was 6:15pm when I finished drying the truck. I said "Fuck it" the clay and sealant will have to wait until the spring. Thanks for the concern though

 

Glad to hear it. They keep a lot of the salt and rocks off the truck too.

 

No where on the east coast unfortunately. Most of the fab shops on TW make plate bumpers, unfortunately they are all out west. Just check out the vendor section, there's a ton of them

 

Yeah, that's too late to start clay barring and waxing. What do you use for polish or compound between clay bar and waxing?

 

I'm thinking of going aluminum........

 

It looks like a typical plate bumper tough to say the manufacturer. I can pretty much promise you its not from the east coast. As far as people who built bumpers that I know of there is Ocean state crawlers. They do custom stuff to how you want it. or Scott (Central mass samuri) from NortheastToyotaCrawlers. although it would probably be tough to price them against someone with a jig set up for mass production. I think it would be worth a call to ask what it would entail. Plus you would have a unique bumper from everyone else

2) We have someone here "trying" to get set-up to "build " these...encourage him a little more and WE might have a "Right Coast" builder ...

When you going to STOP " Snow Dancing" and prep/paint and install those Sliders AND TAKE PICTURES....might just become a "Poster Child" for a website

I think relentless makes aluminum plate bumpers. Iirc there's one other vendor that makes them too

 

Hahahahah. Sliders should be painted by this wkend. Installed soon after. As far as fab work with my stick welder goes, I need to make more room in my ever evolving garage space and get a little more confident. Right coast builder, hmmmmmm..........lol

 

My truck only beeps when 4Lo won't engage.

 

My truck doesn't even beep when my seat belt isn't clipped in

Mine never did, even when I drove it off the lot. It was not my doing, I never had the seat belt beep. I didn't even know that I was supposed to have one until the dealership gave me another Tacoma as a loaner when they did the suspension TSB on mine.

 

Strange. Does the seat belt light blink when its not clipped in?
