Looking to sell my 6' Oakley Display Case on here before I try craigslist. With the new baby I no longer need this. There is a small scratch on the front piece of plexi-glass, the light works and I have the keys for the locks. Asking 350 obo.

Hey guys, got a question. Locally i have a guys selling a used Pro Comp 6" lift for 2nd gen tacos. He's asking $900 but willing to come down some. It's missing the AAL's and best i can tell the coil overs on the shocks also. I currently have a 3" lift from Toytec. What's everyone's take here on the 6" lift? I didn't originally go with the 6" lift just because i only had 17k miles on the truck, but have 42k now. Any feedback is appreciated.

    Thanks,

Without checking the price, I'd guess that by the time you buy what's missing you'll be close to what the lift costs brand new.

Here's my personal opinion. Those lifts look good, however the 6" lift kits are dropbracket, by which provide height for bigger tires, but not anymore suspension performance than what you already have. You'll be able to run a 35" tire with ease, but never really be able to utilize the full "performance potential" of a 35" tire, if that makes any sense to you. So it depends on what you want, how much you go offroad, and how much you want to spend.

For $900 I'd say stick with what you have and spend that money upgrading something else. But that's my opinion.

I don't like 6 inch kits personally. Ask ruggedT, he had a 6 inch and went to a 3 inch kit.

6" vs 3" is 100% personal preference. I could do anything I can do now, and vice versa. I went down to 3" for a lower center of gravity... plus easier to load big things in my bed.
