So on move in day you've got King Stud, the cripple and Lisa's rack with OZ as an our of country consultant overseeing the operation... Sounds like a party

Can't wait to see the results of that move in! I'm guessing everything makes it as far as the garage except the fridge, couch and TV...

Got the garage all insulated today. Just need to wait till the drywall is in the ceiling so I can insulate the ceiling and I'm good to go for the man cave.

Thanks. It's a lot of work, but worth it in the end.

I'm just curious how you balanced the worklaod and scheduling with contractors. I haven't read the thread, so I'm not sure if you are acting as GC, or if you found a GC who is willing to work with you. For example, you said you insulated the garage (not to mention doing all the cabling elsewhere), and the drywallers will follow you....

I have a GC that is a long time family friend. I worked it out with them to be able to do a lot of the work myself. The GC built a house for my parents about 14 years ago. They know the level of work my dad and I are capable of so they agreed to let us do it.
