    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
It hasn't even been a day, and I miss it! I will still creep on this thread though.

Gaaah! I know! I told the new owner how rare my 1st year/1st gen HomerTaco grill was...

    :( Seriously.

It was definitely hard to let her go. Drove her to the smog station then the DMV right after to transfer the title and release liability, and of course, one last cruise through town.

I just need more (people) space and have a stick shift. All I've owned are manual pickups. Just personal preference. I REALLYYYYYY wished Toyota would have made a 5-speed V6 1st gen DOUBLE CAB Tacoma, but I settled on a new '13.

It is NOTHING like the 1st gen. Having owned this '13 for 1000 miles now, the 6-speed can't even hold a candle to the SOLID 5-speed in the 1st gens. Yes, the new power and huge interior is nice, but the learning curve to being smooth with this slush box is obnoxious. No mechanical "feel" to the new truck anymore IMO, but I'll learn to live with it. All Toyota had to do was throw a 5-speed in their 1st gen double cabs but NOOOOO.

ON A PLUS SIDE!!!!-----my cousin bought my old Tacoma from me. I can/will post his updates on the '95 if he does anything. I told him not to change a THING. Haha. He's been sweating me for my truck even before I knew I was going to sell it so I gave him first dibs before anybody. Let me tell you, the "family price" I let him walk away with on that truck would make a lot of you cry/slap me.

Whats the wheel lift and tire specs? It looks very close to my truck and about the size I want to go. Even the tires I'm getting too!

4 194's are the correct bulb for the dash, 3 t5's are correct for the ac controls. If you have a illumination ring around your key it is a t5 and there is a t5 in your glove box. IIRC the shifter is also one t5 as well.

When you did research before how well does your turn signal show through the tint?? Also do you have a link to state laws regarding this?

I ask because I have a black Taco and this would be bada$$ to do

i have to wait till the day time to see how well the lights show through, thats when it would be the hardest to see. As far as state laws...no clue. Figure ill rock it till i get pulled over then when I do sand it down and make it lighter.

here is a pic of it in the gas station with actual light. in this pic the truck is off and no lights are on.

I still can't decide if I want to do this or not... I'd probably do one less coat or so.

I would advise it...like I said, i laid on the last coat too heavy on accident on one so i had to match the other. wish I had just not went back for a touch up coat. But I love the way it looks, the multi colored tail light looked like crap,.
