Saw that. Can still be introduced as an amendment though. Which it won't because the senate leader says he dropped it because he doesn't wanna lose democratic seats in 2014... Awb and mag ban are killed

 

I have twice but it was Only 100 rounds each. When ammo prices go down id love to do a real one.

 

Doesn't sound like the hi cap mag ban is dead yet, but the ban on ARs basically is. Is that how everyone else is reading it?

 

I have run my PSA rifle HARD. I have gone through 1200 rounds of 62 gr wolf in 1 weekend at a school down in Tiger Valley. No problems, just lube every night and bore brush it out. But I will say it wa the only time I am glad I wore gloves, that hand guard gets HOT HOT HOT!

 

Way I read it both could be offered as amendments to the current form of the bill

 

maybe now prices will level out... They should as there is no reason to hoard AR's and AK's now...

Ditto. hi cap mag ban is still on the table as of now.

Thats good to hear. Ive gotten my PSA pretty hot a couple of times that I was glad I had gloves on. Im very happy with both my PSA and BCM so far.

All rifles break. I've been in classes where my PSA (That I built even!) ran like a top, while watching Colts fall down go boom. If you use quality parts, they are all the same.

300 BLK in 16" uses a carbine gas system.

 

I have seen a lot if people have issues still with carbine but some dont.... i think it would just be easier to get pistol just incase. Thats why i went 6.8 instead

 

What parts mainly break? Maybe I'll order some spare parts

 

I just keep extra lower/upper spring and pin kit in my pistol grip JIC

 

I have spares for just about everything. Keep them in my range box.

 

Also an extra bolt

 

Bolts, extractors, firing pins, gas rings, cam pins mostly...

Buy a spare complete bolt, cam pin and firing pin when prices become more sane and you'll have most breakdowns covered.

You *CAN* break a carrier key or bend a gas tube with a bolt override, but that is extremely rare.

 

Most of these people with issues have rifles with improper gas ports on their barrel. Buy a Noveske or Wilson barrel and you'll be ok.
