TacoTacoma96's '96 Tacoma Build

Brand New here to Tacoma World. That being said, here we go.
Got this truck from my grandpa when I turned 16. Couldn't drive a stick but I learned and love her to this day. Believe it or not she has about 80,000 miles on her.
As of 4/17/13

Heres the oldest pic I still got of her pretty stock.

Got the 3RZ and added some goodies:
Taylor Throttle Body Spacer

AEM Air Intake


Added this along the way


And a new converter

Suspension Wise I got this (so far)

• 1.5 Spacers
• Bilsteins All The Way Around
• Handmade Leaf Springs
• Stock Coils

Thats all about to change since I got these:



The tires were upgraded from stock to black steelies with 30x9.50 Cooper AT3s

And then to 16x7 Toyota 4Runner rims with some worn out tires

Then one fell off

Then upgraded to brand new 265/75 Cooper AT3s again.

Well got the OME stuff installed Today

Also The shop gave me a Wilson 5000 antenna for free

The old springs and coils are sold and gone.

My friend Cody took them off my hands to put on his Taco.

Please note that I traded him the rims and tires months before

 

Very excited today because of this




Looks greats and tough at the same time. I got some Hella 500s gonna put on later. The 4WheelParts store in Georgia installed it for me and they did a great job. If anyone needs to know the 881 coils (with OME shocks) with the weight of the bumper (no Winch) yielded almost no droop, maybe .5in if that. got some ToyTec 2in shackles and 5125 Bilstein shocks ordered for the back. Love when everything works out. Australia is officially my second favorite country

Finally got my stuff added to my Bumper.

• 3 Foot Firestick
• Hella 500FFs

I think it looks really good. get looks left and right.
Thinking about upgrading my CB to something with good range.

With that Bestop Soft Top and some black steelies it'll really look badass.
Right now next thing on my list is a oil change

Also got Bilstein 5125s for the rear.

Can't wait till tomorrow. Getting my rear lift put on. Also loving the soft top, it can be noisy at times but its great to have and use
Got another mod in mind to:

Gonna get rid of my Flowmaster muffler (single in/dual out). Heard a bunch of 3.4 V6s but never a 2.7 I4.

Any input?.
One last note, I'm also thinking about some Bushwacker O.E. fender flares:
