Calling all Virginians (Tidewater area)

Well if you move your .25" spacer to the pass side (where you have no spacer, correct?) and put a .75" spacer on the driver...you'll be .25" high on your driver side

 

I believe he want a little more lift but remain level?

 

The driver side should remain .25" higher then whatever he puts on the pass side. To be level, if he is level right now with the 1/4" block compensating for the "Taco lean"

Driver / Passenger
1/4" / No Spacer
1/2" / 1/4"
3/4" / 1/2"
1" / 3/4"

And so on...

 

Gotcha...anyone know if fox shox does custom length? Going with there coilovers and want shocks to match..looking at 6" alcans as well

 

If he sits level with the 1/4" on the drivers side i doubt he will notice the extra 1/4" with his new possible set up. And the taco lean will get worse as his springs age

Anyone know if the truck can run with the gauge cluster gone/ not connected?

 

I believe so. I know alot of vehicles will and alot of them wont gain miles on odometer being its stored in the cluster its self. I know thats how it is on my 4runner.

 

On some manufacturers the cluster is where some of the security features are. They wont start without it.

I was thinking to put a touch screen in its place.

 

The odometer is stored on the cluster, removing it or tampering with it can destroy the value of your truck and is illegal a few different ways.

What should i look for when buying a winch off cl. I found a warn vr8000 and i think its a good price. Is it anyone on here thats selling it?

 

Unless you plan on replacing it, check the cable inch for inch.

Probably have another vendetta that they are going to go against them on and it just makes it easier to get it passed if they are on they're own.

 

F-that. Ill celebrate when they drop the "gun control law." Dems never figured they would get the assault weapons ban. If you have ever negotiated a price, that was their "high bid." They will be happy to settle for the increased background checks and a mag size limit would be even better.
