Oooooh that would do it. Lol well i guess its not a big deal. You still mod the double cab and use that. You gonna get a car too? You could get an older 4runner or something for a dd/off road rig.

I agree about the NV's being the best way to go, but working with time frame sucks

I can maybe swing by Sunday afternoon with it. Got Anburlyn's B-day party Saturday and then Pictures for her Sunday morn.

Coil Spring compressor. Anyone know somebody with one? I'll rent it and use it in front of them for $10 bucks or if anyone want to make a quick $20 they can come to my work and do the job. I want to get this done before the sunday.

Autozone man. Or a Napa service center. Or... use a floor jack... compress the coilover while fully bolted on the truck, loosen top nut, slowly lower jack, remove lower shock bolt, droop lower arm, remove coil. Reverse to assemble. Yumatrd and i did this on my truck a few weeks ago. Worked great and was super fast and easy.

Most of the spring compressors you can rent don't work well on the Taco.. Josh's suggestion is a good way to do it, just take your time and go slow.

Go slow and use a good jack or you will be likely to eat a spring in your face.

The spring doesn't really have anywhere to go anyways. Obviously go slow regardless, but its held in place by the shock itself. As long as you don't just drop the jack all at once. I just watched the top shock bolt to make sure it didn't go below the coil bucket.

The BLM is asking for volunteers to help clean the Table Mesa Recreation Area, north of Phoenix. This area is very popular with recreational target shooters, off-highway vehicle riders, hikers, and others. Illegal dumping, as well as debris left behind by recreationists has resulted in the need to set aside a morning to clean the area. Volunteers are critical to keeping this area an attractive and safe place to recreate. Target shooters have enthusiastically joined in past volunteer efforts that the BLM has hosted at Table Mesa and the NRA anticipates that the April 6th clean up will be no exception.

Table Mesa Park Ranger Jason Blomberg is spearheading this latest clean-up. Maricopa County Solid Waste is providing dumpsters. The Arizona Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition and Black Canyon Trail Coalition are donating labor, equipment, and supplies.

Where: Meet at the entrance to Table Mesa - I-17; exit Table Mesa Road

    When: April 6

    How Long: 8:00am – noon

What to Bring: water, gloves, rakes, sunblock and hat

    Contact: Rem Hawes (623-580-5530)

If you enjoy recreating in Table Mesa for informal shooting, hiking or other activities, please set aside the morning of April 6th and volunteer to help the BLM and others in this clean-up effort. Please be sure to wear a NRA hat, t-shirt or other clothing item to let folks know that you are a NRA member.

I follow you guys on the jack and wouldnt mind doing it that way but i have a spacer lift im removing so i have to do everythin from lowering the lower control arm to compressing it again twice. Remove the spacer then remove the top plate. i figured if someone had it it would be just one step. The offer is still out there but as a last resort ill do it the floor jack way. Thanks for the replay fellas

Well.. wheels and tires are coming pretty quick.. have a dilemma tho

was planning on 17x9's, 4 3/8 BS, -15 offset, with the same size tire I have now 285/70/17... MAYBE a 315/65/17 for a wider tire...

But now Im thinking 16's. They only come in a 16x8, 4 BS, -12 offset tho. And then still figure out which of those two tires to choose.

Need input. What's gonna be the difference between the width of wheels 8 vs. 9 and then the 4 BS im not too sure about.
